After completing a bachelor's degree in Household Product Design, Jini Chu developed a strong interest in homemade objects and Adhocism. She also got inspired by the Japanese humanities discipline‘Modernology(Kōgengaku)’(as an antonym of Archaeology) and combined it with ethnographic methods to do some art-based research about material culture and daily life. Having cultivated a passion for fieldwork methods through art-based research, Jini now enjoys an apprenticeship in anthropology.

Thank god Jini has had a "job" ever since he joined a documentary crew last year.
